Default Can't believe I found my old Cobra

I just unearthed my old Cobra trapshooter! I bought this way back in the day, but soon figured out how poorly it worked and bought a Bel RD. That Bel was awesome in it's day! I would say it could still hold it's own in X and K band vs some of the new RD's.

    Later,

Yeah I have an old X&K band Escort, and its darn good on X&K band especially being for how old it is.

Now you must take the Cobra and put it under the front tire of your car and say a few nice words in remembrance while you peel out on it.

Yeah if I could find the power cord I'd test it to see if it causes my V1 to "J" out. I had a Uniden before the Cobra that was even WORSE. I wish I could find that!

LOL. Must be old timer week for the RDs. I'm using my wife's old Bel 715i until I can afford something from THIS decade. It gave me a 1.5 mile alert on a Douglan County LEO today on I-25 in Colorado. I wasn't speeding, so it wasn't a big deal, but it was nice to see. I wish I had the manual so I knew what band he was running....

Of course, 30 minutes later it failed to pick up the two Colorado Springs officers sitting just over a hill until I was 100 yards from them. Oh well. Wasn't speeding there, either.
