Default What do YOU consider a false?

Just curious to what ya'll think is a false. Kinda a little tired of people saying that an RD picking up a K band door is a false, in a way yes it is, but to me a true false is picking something up that well, isn't there at all! I'd rather have a little bit more sensitive RD that might pick up 1-2 more K band doors than an RD that hardly picks up any K band doors, then I'd start worrying if it's even working

I say anything that isnt police radar or laser is a false. Door openers and alarm systems included.

True. I wish though they'd move doors out of the police radar range all together :x

a radar track in my daily commutes that I know isnt a police officer unless 2 signals are present

if im unfamiliar with the area, then either in going the PSL at all times or slowing for every alert out there

I've often wondered why people consider a non-police radar source "false" when they operate within the same bandwidths. To me, a false is when a detector alerts and no reasonable source is nearby (like in rural areas with no traffic or buildings).

Although there aren't many votes at this time, I'm surprised that "all of the above" was selected so much. If a K band door opener is a "false", then K band police radar is also a false! You can't have it both ways.

IMO a false is something the detector registers that doesn't interest me. Technically, you could say a false is just an alert that the detector makes off something that isn't within it's spec'ed bandwidths. But a modern detector, this is very rare to happen (though sometimes the units do freak out).
