Default Laser proof clear car bar. (IDEA)

This is my idea for a passive laser countermeasure. Something like a license plate laser shield /3M clear bra.

It would be clear, so you just put it over you car as such, but it absorb or laser beams, making you 'cloked' from police laser until a breakthrough area of 200 or so feet. You would probably have to have it professionally installed.

What do you thing :?: :?:

    1 word......... Headlights

you could "Cloak" those too, but that would probably kill your lights at night......... VEIL would work to a certain point, but a Jammer is the sure bet............ and at that point such a device is rendered useless in the presence of the jammer, so in essence just a waste of money

it was a good idea though

Jammers are quickly becoming illegal however, with veil over the headlights it could be a very effective solution.

Like a Clear Bra for a new car to protect it, but this would be designed for laser attacks. I think I understand whats he's saying. You get the bumper, headlights, outside of the mirrors and as much of the hood you want to do. You would also need to protect the plate and then that would leave the windshield open but as the leo is searching for a place to get a reading before he hits the windshield, you should have already gotten a reading.

It would not be clear, as the laser absorbing stuff would make it a tint of green or blue. But... you could easily put laser absorbing pigment into epoxy. Wax your car and apply... it would hopefully peel off later.

Hmm...Id actually buy some of that stuff. Like if Veil joined forces with Armor All or Turtle Wax, and make a LIDAR absorbing wax, that shines up your car

not a bad idea, we just have to find a clear lidar absorbing material.
