differnece in bands?
From some of the reading on this site it seems that differnt radar bands are harder to detect then others. For example Ka is harder to detect the X, but on my detector (rx65) i think that K is the weakest band. I know that this RD has great Ka but shouldn't the K be better.
No idea. I haven't come across a cop that uses K band yet. lol
does anyone know how the Rx65 detection of KA vs. K band is?

i think bel purposely tuned down the k band sensitivity on the rx65 so it doesn't false too frequently, but yes k-band is pretty easy to detect compared to ka 35.5ghz
The RX65 detects K band better than Ka, just like any other detector will. K band is just easier to pick up. Don't get me wrong, the RX65 does a helluva job on Ka, just does'nt pick it up as far as K band for the most part.
