x band in dallas????
was arriving in dallas around 2 am last night when i came across a road block setup by the dallas pd. right after i passed, my rx65 alerted full blast to X band, then dropped, and as i passed, alerted twice to short X band blast. seems like it was instant on x band- but in dallas?????

well that seems extremely unlikely, im in dallas and have turned off X band but i wonder because i just got bak from test driving a GST and i went past a patrol car and got Ka from the front but he was sitting there holding a gun hitting other traffic, and when i went by i only picked up Ka from the front of his car so im assuming it was laser, but i didnt get any laser alert and right now my X50 is mounted real low, so i wonder if it was a X band gun,,, hmmm i doubt it but possible
yeah every other dpd car i saw, the signal i was getting was ka. its weird. it almost makes me wonder if the RD was confused or something? jim is that likely???
Some buildings, institutions around with door openers? Drive back again thru the same spot and see if you get the X alert again :idea:
