Any chance to detect radar units in STANDBY mode?

Is there any chances to find the leak on the radar units in STANDBY mode?

There should be some sort of freq. leak like a radar detector because the signal is ready but un-escapeable in the radar head.

I heard many of you guys find a rabbit to defeat Instant On radar. However, between 11:00pm to 4am at night, finding a rabbit is tough luck on the HWY because most drivers are sleepy and tired.

The only legal way to defeat Instant On radar is to find the leak on the radar units in STANDBY mode. Even if the detection range is short, it is still better than nothing.

There is NO radar being transmitted in standby mode. So, unfortunately there isn't anything to detect.

Yep jims right, unless its being used the gun wont be emitting, same with laser.

It would be interesting to detect the power output from the radar gun though.
