Chicago area users...laser from I-Pass

So the other night i drove on 80 for the first time since they finished construction. The new open road I-pass lanes were open and everytime I went through them my V1 went off saying I was hit with laser. I've used I-pass other times before everything was finished and this didn't happen.

Anyone know what's up with this?

Did you see a cop? If not, chances say it was a false. Keep in mind that the laser has to haev line of sight to see you. so if you are hit- you should be able to see them

This is common. Some manufacturers of automated toll booth equipment use laser sensors for things presently unknown to me. The NH toll booths cause laser alerts on my RDs ever since they went to EZPass a year or so ago.
