Im guessing that it is talking about the 16 ms K band MPH gun, like the one Racer X is using in his test. http://www.radardetector.net/SR7%2C-...-Ka-18886t.php

Wasnt there a GOL test that dealt with 16 ms POP and included the V1?

...Ordinary detectors aren’t clever enough to reliably distinguish between them.

    V1 has never been ordinary.

There is 67ms K-Band POP (K-Band BEE III and Enforcer) and 16ms POP (Z-Series).

Unfortunately, there really haven't been any 67ms K-Band POP tests. However, all indications are that the V1 should detect 67ms K-Band POP the majority of the time. It will only detect 16ms K-Band POP once in a while, maybe 10% of the time, if that.

Although some detectors might catch a 16ms K-Band hit once in a while, currently no detector will detect 16ms POP consistently and reliably.

Michael B's lab testing indicates that some detectors do not alert to 67ms K-Band POP at all (Whistler and V1 are exceptions).

yep 16ms is too quick to pick-up, but if i'm not mistaken if the officer holds the trigger for 2 or more seconds it goes to regular instant-on so we can still have a good chance of picking up the signal if the leo shoots somebody ahead of you
