    Default Oklahoma radar bands.

Here are some contacts Ive made, and successfully too. OHP,DOT sign, Muskogee pd, Wagoner pd on K band. Tulsa, and Broken Arrow pd on Ka. Can any other okies help on other towns? Specifically Coweta, Hulbert, Skiatook, Bixby. I am loving my new rx65, but I have been playing with it vs my 925 express (one at a time), and the range is almost identical. I am really liking the threat display, but I am starting to think the 925x is just as good!

All I've ever encountered in this state is K and Ka. Usually sheriff is on K and OHP on Ka.

I take that back. I have seen a radar sign that was on X band.

Keep your eyes sharp on the Cimmaron Turnpike. I've been zapped thrice around Hallet with something that never set off an alert on my Vector 940 or my RX55. All three times OHP. Once resulted in a ticket.

I really don't think this was Lidar unless Lidar can be used in mobile vehicle. Can it?

All three instances the trooper was traveling in the oncoming lane at speed ...did a U and came after me.

    Once was no ticket.

Once was a warning and the other was a fine. Both citations said "Radar" .

yes cops use laser here in oklahoma but most guns are k,ka radar.
they love useing instant-on and they turn down there power on there radar units to very lowpower so the radar detectors have a hard time to to pick up the signal but most good radar detectors can pick up the radar signal even when they sett there radar guns to lowpower.

Maybe the police were quick-triggering their guns:
