Default 4 BelEscort power cords went bad!

I have one X50 power cord that is bad, one 995 p/c that is bad, and two 795 p/cs that are bad. I am sending all of these back to BelEscort for repair/ replacement. How many others on here have had bad p/c's lately?

That's weird. Mind you the last time I tried to use my old STI's power cord it didn't power up the unit. I didn't check my ciggy lighter to see if it had busted tho. I run my homemade hardwire about 100% of the time...

    Default yeah

Yeah, I may eventually hardwire my V1 up near the rvm but only if I have a good laser jammer.

Are you sure it's the power cord?

See if the V1 power cord will power up the 995. The V1 cord works with the 995 I tried it.

    Default yeah

Yeah GTO, it's the power cords. My friend was using the 795 (which he enjoyed) and it just stopped working. I checked out everything else on the unit and then I used my 995 on the 795 and what do yah know, the 795 powered up. This is the 2nd p/c that has went bad w/ the 795, 1rst p/c w/ the X50, and I think 1rst p/c that went bad w/ my 995. This is starting to get old GTO04!

    Default I thought

Airmoore, I thought the same too but this is the 2nd one that has went bad. Maybe I'll just ask Bel to send me 2 since the probability the next one will go bad after a while. I sure am glad I have a few backup cords. 3 cords are going back to BelEscort monday. I am also sending my Whistler back. And finally, I am sending my consealed remote and my lighter plug adaptor for my V1, back to VR. Must be bad luck huh guys?

You have horrible luck man. Or you're moving them and putting them in positions that are breaking the wires inside. Remember - you can't put them at sharp angles.

    Default there

They're not at a sharp angle, and the cords aren't being pulled to much so I don't know what the problem is?
