    Default vintage Regency radar detectors

:?: Years ago Regency Electronics of Indianapolis made x-band detectors.Does anyone know there are any detectors made by them still around?I dont care if they work or not.I collect all Regency items when possible.I worked there during that time, they went out of business in Indy in the late 80s.

I checked ebay and there is only a Regency Electronics scanner:

I also checked auctions that have ended in the last 30 days on ebay and there was no Regency Electronics radar detectors.

Guess he's out of luck then.
Since there isn't one on there now, and there wasn't one on there in the last 30 days, that must mean that nobody will ever list one on there in the future

EDIT: Oops sorry Texasrosie, I mean "she". ops:
(We don't get too many ladies on here :? )

OK so I just couldn't resist digging around in my collection to see what I have.
Sorry though Texasrosie: they're not for sale, they're being archived for historical purposes (one day I'll have them in the museum):

Anyway, here is a Regency radar detector in all it's glory!
(with no bulb and double-sided tape stuck to the top )

I also have a Regency scanner, these were pre-programmed you just select the state (just like some Unidens, hmmm wonder why that is  Actually a guy I used to work with once worked for Regency, and later Uniden, he's one inventor on their "turboscan" patent...)

You know Jim that at a real museum they normally have the products displayed in a "everyday setting". I think you're going to have to get some vintage cars to house yer RD's
