Detacheble antena?

is there any detector with detachable antena that I could hide the main unit and put the antena like in the back of my rear view mirror, I am not talking about the (BEL 975R Concealable Radar Detector?) that you put you antena in the engine compartment,I would like the antena inside my car. oh an also those antena dosnt need to be Wireless, I preffer wired, thanks

Well what you can do is just put the 975R antenna in the mirror.

But here is a better way.

Remove the front bumper cover.

Cut a hole in the styrofoam and fit the 975R inside, then put back the bumper. Completely stealth. But don't bump anything!!

whistler has a real nice remote unit...cheap too and can be equiped with two directional antenna! 8)
