Okay, okay, lets start over this time.
And lets set the bar nice and low, we can start with something simple like X band detection and work our way up.
For background, I know the ins and outs of computers, and I know very basic electronics (I can install a modchip, have pretty good soldering skills, and I can tell you what a capacitor and a resistor does off the top of my head :-P. Other than this, I have never designed any complicated electronics but I thought this would be a fun community project!).
Anyone interested? We can make a simple parts list, and the biggest thing is that we should try and get all parts from of-the-shelf components available from a parts retailer like radioshack if possible (or even if you dont personally get them from there, the fact that they would be easily accessable to others would be a plus).
