Does it pick up the strongest? or the fastest? I know that it displays the fastest, but does it display the fastest of the stronger signal?

In other words, if you are on a street and there is two way traffic. Does it display the closer car that is going 25 or the car approaching (further away in feet) that is going 20?

I was playing around and I couldn't tell if I was clocking the on coming car or the car that just past me.

The strongest. Usually the vehicle closest, but not always...

they will ussually pic up the closest car and not the fastest car.

Check out my you tube vids with me and my Kustom K band radar with the doppler tone, you can see a car coming then a car passes me and the doppler changes to the car that just over took me as he had a stronger signal.

The LEOs just, I mean just got the ability to clock the fastest car (even if it is the weakest signal) with the Stalker DSR 2, correct? or could they do that before this one?

I heard about 1000ft tops, but I haven't actually measured it. I don't think that I get that distance, perhaps about 5-700ft.

I think thats the the squelch (spelling) mode? Am i right Stalker :? See, i think this is the best thing since slided bread, all this information. With out it, it's damn hard to explain how radar/lidar works to people that don't know any better. Keep up the good work :wink:

haha yeah there is a squelch button but the doppler has a volume dial, some police use it to hear your speed dip without looking at the radar...

Yes I agree this info is great for newbs and people wanting to know how police radar works.
