I have a Uniden 360 Laser/radar detector that I bought around 1998. It seemed to work great until I got caught on the NJ Turnpike in 2000. Since then I lost faith in RD and started driving without one, and since then I racked up an average of one citation per year. Anyway, I finally decided that some protection is better than no protection, and my insurance is running sky high! I dug out my old Uniden and I forgot all the little details on how this thing works. I don't know which beeps to ignore and which can be an actual threat.
I can't find anything on the Uniden website about RD nor can I download any user manuals. Does anyone know where I could find this info?
Also, I don't see anyone in this forum talking about Unidens. Are they really that bad of a RD? I really don't want to dump more money into a new detector since the one I have seemed to work fine. I think the cop that got me was using a low power radar or something, because the Uniden did kinda beep, I just didn't respond to it.
