thanks in advance
Thats kinda rude to all the users on this forum, you really dont have time to read the forum? A simple search would turn up an answer, but I really dont have time to type out the answer so use the search.
I'm not going to make you have a crappy night so i'll help you out here. But all further info on this topic should be found using the search button
Well this question can never be found on this forum becuase people have many different ideas of what is important in a detector, but the top few are Valentine 1, Beltronics STi, Beltronics Rx65, and Escort X50. I will point out the main benifits of each you can decide what is most important to you.
V1- Great detection (best most likely) but it has more flase alarms. Another benifit of the v1 is it has arrows that tell you where the radar is comming from. The arrows are pattented so no other detector has that feature. Some say that the V1 is old tech, but it deffinetly still works. It does have an Led screen like the rest so you have a different looking interface.
STi- The sti also has stellar performance maybe slightly less then the V1 (on some frequencies maybe equal or better) but lacks the arrows. The main feature is that the STi is the only radar detector that is invisible to all radar detector detectors. This is only important if you are from a place where RD are illegal. Also has a voice to indentify what band of radar is in use.
RX65- All most identical to the STi but it is not stealth. It has very good detection, the STi has better laser detection but you really need a jammer to save you from that anyway so no biggie. Liek the STi this also has the voice.
X50- Similiar to the Rx65, but it does not have as good Ka band range. However most would agree that the difference is not really noticable. I believe however that it is slightly better then the Rx65 on K band so it evens out its performance. The X50 also has a differnt threat display. You can track multiple targets with this feature. On the RX65 and Sti this feature is also present however on the X50 you can track multiple radar from the same band for example 2 Ka band sources rather then just 1 on the Rx and sti. This is a minimal differnce and should not be a large factor in your choice.
OK so that is detectors.
Jammers are for jamming laser they are very effective if installed and chosen correctly. They are not for jamming radar, which is a federal offence in the US.
So the best jammer is a tuff question Blinder makes an excelent jammer, but it relies on LED to jam rather then the stronger diode that some other companies use. There are some other suggestions that i have but legaly due to patents i can't really tell you about them, so just browse the laser jammer section of this forum (see what seems to be popular
hope that helps and if it doesn't well then you an go...
no i'm jk
hope that helped
Turbo RSX? Got pics? Got torque steer
dam....... a boosted K20A (K20A-S???) now thats a thing of beauty
Nice ride! 8)
Be sure to check out the "Sticky'ed" posts at the very top of this Forum. It's not only good courtesy as a new member of our Forums/community, but it also will answer well over 90% of your initial questions.
There is no simple "best." It's what best-fits your end-use expectations that you should look for. What fits my bill best may be of absolutely no use to you.
Review your driving habits and routes, your local enforcement practices and hardware, and then assess the weaknesses and strengths of each detector to your needs. Next, factor-in your desires for features, interface, and potential upgradeability.
Come to the decision that's right for YOU.
Deleted by Dep. Okay...I was being sarcastic. But please learn to ask a bit more politely in the future
What kind of 0-60 and 1/4 mile times have you gotten with that setup?

In the quarter, though, I would think that it would do well, as he could be much more aggressive after establishing traction.
Please, if possible, newjerzrep, post if you have different times (for both data-points) with street-tires vs. drag tires/slicks, as well as if your setup may be different between the two (i.e. low vs. high boost, etc.).
Any data from G-Tech, datalogging, or other such devices that gives an approximate 50MPH to 80MPH "passing performance" time? If so, what gear and boost level are you using/seeing?
Again, cool! 8)
Deputy - Nah, bro, I think he's just so new to this aspect of things that he thinks there's an "absolute winner" out there. From the vehicle, even if he didn't wrench on it himself, it's apparent that he's gotta have at least a good amount of "willingness to research."
Might as well give him a helping hand and guide him the right way.
