    Default Which detector to buy

I recently returned a Vector 995 and now I want to buy a new one. I have been looking around forever and cant find a clear answer. Im assuming that the V1 and RX65 are very similar am I correct. Which one would you recommend? I live in PA and im not sure what the state police use in forms of radar and or LIDAR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    V1 and RX65 are not alike. The escort 8500 x50 and rx65 are alike.\
Do yuo do most of your driving in the city or on the highway?
On the forum, it pretty much goes like this
V1 is for highway driving, best sensitivity and best laser alert
X50 and rx65 for all around use. Sensitivity is amazing, but filters out many false alerts.

well considering that only state police can use radar or lidar in PA im going to assume I should be aiming at highway performance? I just dont want to let my guard down if I happen to drive out of state where police can use radar and lidar in the city

v1 has the best chance of picking up a prewarning on a laser, however- if laser is your main concern, buy a blinder & then a cheap radar detector. If PA is anything like ohio on the highways, the blidner will be put to much more use.
