    Default Early Warning RD

I am fairly new to the RD world. I was wondering if anybody has ever heard of a RD brand called Early Warning? Are they any good or do they suck?

I could be wrong, happened before. But I think early warning is made by the same makers as Cobra, therefore, they suck.

    Default low

Welcome to the board. Early Warning is a lower end unit. My suggestion, if you can't afford a "decent" rd, then buy a lower end unit to do some learning with. Then, save up and get a better unit to drive with.

I found this on the net and thought it was funny...

"EARLY WARNING™ RADAR/LASER DETECTOR WITH ODOR ELIMINATOR"

I thought they looked like a cheaper unit. Im especially leary of any RD that advertises it having an "odor eliminator". I currently run a bel e795 and i've been pretty happy with it.

I posted a message quite some time back about that very unit. I was advertised on some tv program. Title of the post was can you beat that ? no you cant.

How can I find out if my OLD early warning was made from BG Tech? This is what I am currently using. One out of the early 90s.
