Default Sticky needed??? Don't run 2 'tectors @ same time???

Despite repeated warnings to the contrary, people still insist on testing two detectors at the same time. It's just a plain waste of everybody's time as the results will always be suspect. I would suggest that 3 runs with individual detectors powered is the minimum to even begin to address environmental factors, 5+ each unit is probably a decent sample.

Sometimes people know they are only able to get one single run, so they just run both at the same time in hopes that it will provide some sort information. But yes, the results will always be questionable.

Questionable they are. . but a detector alerting 1 second before the other doesn't really mean a whole lot. You travel 88 feet in 1 second at 60 mph. When we compare tests we're talking in .1 miles which 528 feet. So a few seconds really doesn't matter.

If it gives you enough time to slow down, without braking hard - than you should smile, because it gave you enough time.

The only times I've run two 'tectors (I like that abbreviation) at the same time is either (a) if I'm only testing laser, or (b) I'm testing to see what kind of performance issues do arise from running two detectors together.

But for realistic testing, only run one at a time.

He just wants it to look cool, but i'm pretty sure Radar Roy knows not to run multiple detectors at the same time.

I don't believe they are all powered simultaneously.

I was wondering if having 2 detectors on at the same time
    would damage them?
