I'm beginning to think the deer in the woods are carrying x-band radar units! I live in the boonies and I regularly get X-band alerts on my STi that go on and on, but never to full alert, stop intermittently, then start up again, when I'm driving through the middle of nowhere -- no buildings, no other traffic, no other nearby roads... just woods and fields... nothing I can think of that would be giving off X-band. :? A couple of times I've driven around all the country roads trying to find the LEO, but no luck. Could it be a LEO on the highway 5 miles away? Does X-band spread that far? It doesn't happen every day... sometimes it lasts for 15 min, then it's gone. It doesn't bother me (except when I'm late and want go faster than the PSL but am afraid to!) -- I'm just really curious about what it might be.
