Default A way to test your RD?

Do yall think this would work, or would it be a diff. frequency from what the RD can pick-up? Pretty good bargain, and you can get it just down the street at Wal-Mart or Target!

Its a real radar gun, but of its size and capabilities it has a hard time setting off detectors. Buy a bushnell from radioshack there like $75

This thing is a real Piece of ****. .

Its X band, Part 15 of FCC and any decent detector filters it out.

I have one of those guns, it doesn't set off my V1 or my X50. It's believed that it emits pulsed, not CW radar, which RDs filter out.

I wonder if an older detector (such as the original Passport) would alert to it.

    This has already been discussed...

The reason that it doesn't set off RDs is because it doesn't have a CW signal. Has nothing to do with the filtering of regular X band used by police.
