Add a Circuit

Just Curious.......

My ACC slot in my fuse box takes a 15 Amp fuse.
If I place a 7.5 Amp on the accessory slot of the
"Add a Circuit" will it Blow.

My Escort SmartCord has an Inline fuse but not sure
what Amp it is.

I'll be double Fused here.

How many Amps does the Detector need?

it only needs 1-2 amps. id recommend 1 amp fuse. dont use a 7.5, could risk shorting your unit

Thanks for the info about how many Amps it draws.
I'll have it double fused since the SmartWire has an
inline fuse.

So the Answer is, it won't blow correct?
Just want to make sure, I don't have
another one handy.

theyre on parallel circuits, so it womt blow unless the RD circuit draws >7.5A
