Since the message is about drinking and driving I think it is a good message.

I do aree that sometimes certain messages do more harm then good, but not in this case

"The simulation is part of Harris County "Drink, Drive, Go to Jail" campaign. "

Used to be, they cracked down on drunk drivers.

Then they lowered the BAC limit so they could crack down on impaired drivers and even folks below the BAC limit.

Now, they want to crack down on any one who's had a drink.

Much like speed limits and tickets, there's a need for enforcement, but sometimes things get pushed to satisfy political agendas and govt. finances.

    Default BAC

Here in Michigan, in addition to our recent reduction to a 0.08% limit (absolutely ridiculous), you can be arrested for DUI even when you are below that limit if the officer simply feels your driving is impaired.

Solution, don't drink and drive. I've had family members killed by drunk drivers. Yes more then one. If you can't not have a drink before you get back in the car then you have a problem. I mean come on, drink a sprite The old it's only one drink, it's only two drinks....well I only had 4 beers...I'm just fine. That attitude is going to cost you...and it should.

I think its a good message. Should not be driving drunk in the first place. If it was just to remind people of their speed, I would say it does more harm(besides the radar sign, is always a good idea, because i get to use my detector! J/k lol!)
