Default I think we need a locals section (Locals Section Now Up!)

The locals section is now up go and check it out!

Hey please vote after reading. I am a member of other forums and we have sections for local stuff. For example: http://www.lawnsite.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59

I think it would great to have a section like that here. Where we could post things that don't apply to everyone but just people in our area. I will use this as my example.

Network with people from your area section.

Then you could click on Dallas Fort worth. Anyone that lives in Dallas would post on there for whatever reasons. I have had a ton of reasons to post on there. I so many times want to say hey dallas guys did you see that cop today on the George Bush Freeway shooting laser, did yall see the new Dodge charge that so and so city is getting. Like the other day I wanted to let everyone know that a city here was getting the pro lite and brand new bikes.

Since this stuff doesn't apply to everyone I thougt it would be cool to have it in it's own section. Not everyone want's to read what's going on here or there when it does not apply to them. Also then after everyone has chimmed in here and there in the locals section I will better know who is close to me etc.

Anyone else seen this. If you think it would be good to have a section like this please vote yes.

Could it be based on a state in our profile perhaps? That way if we're going on a trip we can just change th state to all the states we're gonna go through and read everything.

Or would it be based on where you're connected from (IP lookups basically)?

Either way - I'm all game.

Yea it would be nice to know who is from the North Carolina and Virginia area. I know Orbital is in Charlotte, but I am not sure who else is in the area.

I agree, especially to discuss state-specific laws, equipment, etc.

But mass already has its own section, it's called "How to Beat Your Ticket"

I'd love to meet-up with locals, too.

Our local chapter of the NMA meets once a year...that's where I had the opportunity to test my jammers with suf daddy's laser guns. I don't think the NMA is as active in most other states though, so look into it. (motorists.org)
