I use to live in Houston about a year ago, but this was before I had a detector. I never seemed to see any officers though on 290, 8, 610 or I-10 the 2 years that I lived there. Probably because everyone speeds in Houston and when you cant speed its because you are at a stop. I'm heading back to Houston this summer and thought maybe you could tell me what you've seen as far as radar on the way down through Texas? I'll be taking 35 and 45 south.

Ka i know that the houston PD is not vary rich so they might be running K most of the times my encounters are with Harris County constibles and deputys ect... and state troopers they all run Ka i know HPD has its own police branch just for speeders aka Traffic Enforcment officer all they do is sit on I-10 290 45 ect... anyway where part of houston are u headed to north south east west???

There's a Harris County Deputy that also works in a credit union next to one of the offices I go to. He has a Talon radar on the dash of his car. I also have seen constables working Beltway 8 between Greenspoint and 249. I saw laser being used on 45 south of 610 going into Houston and over by the new foot ball stadium.

I bring my V1 with me everyime I go to Houston, which is about once a month.
