Its funny how ive recently been hearing stories about speeding tickets issued to some of the people in my classes. Like in social studies, this girl was telling everyone about how she got 4 points because she was doing 39 mph in a 25 mph speed limit zone. And then in math, we randomly started talking about how some cars have a greater chance of getting pulled over. After that, the teacher was talking about radar and lidar, I thought that this was funny because some people just dont know about this stuff. Finally, this kid says LEOs always lie about how much a person speeds. If this is true, how can you tell the court that I was not going the speed that he said? A LEO can basically write whatever he wants and it wont make a difference. Are you allowed to like check the reading on the LEOs radar gun?
