Radar detector for mirror mount!

When - oh when - is someone going to make a radar detector that mounts on the back of your inside rear view mirror, and just peeks out, either on the top, the driver's side, or the bottom?

Time to start thinking outside the little black box that sits on your dash!!

^thats just the display of the V1 you still have to have the V1 mounted somewhere

There is a GPS speed camera detector which is sits on the rear veiw but that is sold in Europe

Your dream is exists already. I have a radar detector which seems to be a panoramic-mirror only. You should just put it to your original inside view mirror. This is from England, its brand is Cheetah. It has an excellent range on K band but unfortunately poor a little bit against european Ka/Ku photo radars.

Back in the 80s, there was a RD that replaced your Rear View Mirror. My brother had one. I want to say it was a Whistler. But not sure.

I would buy a TopEnd detector that replaced the Rear View.

I thought it was great idea.

He was only saying that he wanted one that could do that. He wasn't making it rocket science.

If you use the remote display on the V1, you can turn off the lights on the main unit, which, if mounted correctly, makes it more or less invisible, especially from the angle that the cop would be looking at your car.

Unless dude is like, Frodo or something.
