money to blow - Help me choose my poison :)

I plan to pick up another RD in a little while. I think it will be cool to try another "professional" RD out besides the V1. So far I am loving the V1 and have no regrets. I plan to continue using it as my main detector. However, I will have some money to use on something I like so I want to try another RD.

I am thinking maybe an escort x50 at the moment since I have never owned an escort product.

I'm also thinking about an RX65 or an STI. Honestly though, I still can't really see that much of a difference even from all my time here. Both seem to be rather similar besides the stealth issue (does the STI have an edge over the RX-65) Isn't my V995 virtually the same as an RX-65 minus a few features?

Finally, is it just me or do all the bell's seem like weak performers on 33.8? The GOL tests (although possibly isolated incidents) make it seem this way.

X50 is a good bet, but I dunno about the newer revisions

The STi does have a dual antenna design which makes it a unique detector over the Bel's other professional series models.

If it were me I would try the STI driver without a doubt.

I'd say either get an STi Driver (the hot item these days) or an X50 (since you have Bels but no Escort).

if you are looking to replace your V1 for good get an STi. If you want a good backup, get an x50.

Having a v1 myself, if I ever had the extra cash, I would definitely like to try an STi.
