well the instances of the horn and sunroof, those are power surges, not exactly a problem with the X50... and for those who dont know, Ferrite = Fe = Iron

Well, it's partly the 8500 and/or X50, as other detectors don't do this under the same conditions, including MY X50.

So, some 8500s and X50s are more resistant to the interference than others.

im really lost as to the purpose of this thread and what people are angry about, but i know for a fact that Ive had a defective X50 used in different cars that has given crazy laser false alerts for no apparent reason. Turned laser off and it was fine. But not trying to bash it, still love its performance normally.
