Default smoked license and headlight covers helping me?

I think my smoked out headlight and license plate covers help me when being shot by radar. Everytime I get hit the officer stops shooting and stairs at me. The licence plate cover is doubled so its really really dark almost non visible. The headlight covers a a bit scratched up and are also pretty darn dark as well.....Are they getting readings on me ?

Smoked out licence plate and headlights will do absolutely nothing in protecting you against radar.

As Jerry said, no possible thing you can do to your car that costs less than a lifetime supply of traffic tickets can impede radar.

Anything you do that makes your license plate less shiny, however, will have some sort of impact on laser.

YES my mistake. I'm being hit with laser when this happpens. So the covers are helping me then?
I'm almost possitive that they are causing laser malfuntions because of the cops reactions after being hit.
So my covers are blocking the laser guns fromworking properly?

Yeah, those will definitely do the trick against laser. Though I am more than sure any darkened plate cover is illegal in any state -- you might have a ticked cop write you up for that, especially if it's close to being not visible!

MD? Are you in Maryland!? Good luck while it lasts.
I would save all that money your saving on tickets and put it on a jammer. Someday they'll hit a sweet spot.

What about replacing all your metal body panels with balsa wood?

Actually I highly doubt that can do it -- They use radar to clock many kinds of non-metallic objects and I'm sure a car-sized wooden object will show up on traffic radar

Plus, the crash-rating of a balsa wood car would probably keep you from thinking twice about going any faster than 5mph
