    Default New To The Board!

    Hello Everyone,

I am new to this board. But, thanks to this board and some SERIOUS research. I have installed the BEL 975R+M20 Blinder+BEL RX65+Laser Shield on Front & Back Plate. I also have VEIL on my rear tail lights (2005 Lexus LS430) I also have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe w/BEL 975R+M40 Blinder+Escort 8500 X50+Laser Shield on Front & Back Plate. But, I have VEIL on my front headlights and fog lights and the grill that is chrome as well as the rear tailights.

Default 2 Detectors In My Vehicle!

One reason is that the BEL 975R does NOT have POP technology. Since I live in VA I don't normally keep my detectors on. Since the BEL RX65 is Removable, I decided to just go ahead and make the investment. I know it maybe a bit of "overkill", but, I do NOT want to leave anything to chance. I normally do 5-6 miles over the speed limit. But, when I travel outside of VA mostly to Florida....I am at 10-20 miles over, at those SPEEDS I do not want to take any chances. Since the BEL975R will LOSE some of it's effectiveness being in the engine compartment, I thought it might be wise to get a "second" set of radar detector eyes!

    Hello,
I just joined and have been reading posts off and on. Roy has been a big help in understanding this technology coupled with types of prevention. 3 weeks ago bought 2 lazer cover plates from him. Then I ordered my RX65 to replace my cheapie PNI Travelor from Roy the expert. I have my Pro-95 scanner and Galaxy DX929 to keep me occupied traveling open interstate 2 hours a day. This RX65 certainly is a Lexus compared my old PNI. Maybe my wife will not have to tell me to turn the damm thing off any more.

Ok, so call me whacky here...

Instead of installing two seperate detectors in the same vehicle, why not just invest the money in ONE detector, that it's taking two to do the job of?

    *coughvalentineonecough*

Pardon me. Got somethin' in my throat.
