tinted liscense plate cover would this help against laser

I was just wondering becaus I just bought tinted liscense plate cover for my plates and I was wonder since its kinda of dark. When a leo shoots me with laser day or night would this help me in any sort of way at all, I mean would it give me enough time to slow down when I am getting it with laser. I would welcome all your answers.
