Don't worry about that: detection of Ku radars isn't a big thing.

you can group Ku band in the same category as POP.

    FUN FACT:

Any GPRS handheld radio will trip a Ku-band radar detector. I discovered this completely by accident when I used one of these radios in my running car, and sure enough the frequencies overlap.

Maybe this is why I've been getting seemingly-random Ku-band falses from time to time. I've yet to test the range, but a radio in the cabin gives a full-strength alert.

GPRS? maybe GMRS but I dont understand how a GMRS radio that run in the 461/467Mhz band can set off Ku in the 13Ghz band, I will test this tonight see if it make my BELrx65 go off
