has a dc 12 volt input as radio would. I have no mount, but id like to test it out to see what it does.......
Looks like its a radio shackcat # but not sure....
I do not have my camera set up so I can not take a pic of it...

Very interesting....... I'd like to see some video of it in action.
Love the museum, its a trip back in time.
I can only remember back to the late 70's models...

Would anyone happen to have a photo of an old Whisler I use to
own back in 1984. It was a small Black Box with just one Read Light on one
side of the detector. I believe it was only X band.
    It looked like this.

Yes it is a trip down memory lane as I owned about all of them at one time or another.

What would be the earliest model that you have owned.
Would it happen to be an S band?

S band was out of the picture by the time I started driving
everyone pretty much had switched over to X.

Either this version http://www.guysoflidar.com/museum/radar-sentry2.html or a variation of it. I remember breaking the antenna off in the back.

lol it would be classic if I hadnt broken the antenna and I still had it. Hells Bells, I graduated from High School in 1961. (NO COMMENTS)!!!!!!!. I recall getting the earliest RD comparison tests from various sources reading them over and over.

I saved the comparison tests for years and years and just added to them when new ones came out. Wish I still had those as well. In fact I had the earliest tests up till 1983 when we lost everything we had in a flood.

    1983…Hurricane Octave…

September 28 through October 7 1983...Tropical storm remains...including those from Hurricane Octave... cause heavy rain over Arizona during a 10 day period. Southeast Arizona...and Yavapai and Mohave counties are particularly hard hit. Severe flooding occurs in Tucson...Clifton...and Safford. Fourteen deaths and 975 injuries are attributed to the flooding. At least 10000 Arizonans are left temporarily homeless. Damage in today’s dollars is estimated at 370 million. Rainfall amounts include 9.83 at Nogales, 6.67 at Safford, 6.40 at Tucson, 3.93 at Flagstaff, 2.65 at Phoenix, and 2.62 at Prescott.
