I got the V1 up and running. Against popular convictions I decided to run the SR7 and the V1 at the same time. Not for any scientific purposes but just to see if these phantom Ka signals are real.
At the stop light at 2094 and Hwy 146 I get a simultaneous Ka alert fromt the SR7 and the V1. The SR7 tells me it's Ka 35.500 (MPH gun so Harris County Sherrif Impala somwhere) The V1 give me sideways arrows. So I'm like YES! I know what he is and where he is.
The light changes and as I make my left the arrows clock around behind me and I cant see any HCS impala anywhere behind me. Next light the car behind me turns off and there he is. HCS slicktop impala right behind me with Ka constant on. Then it got me to wondering whether or not I might want to run the V1 and the SR7 together. The radar reciever is in the grill so I wonder if the chance of interference is reduced at all. Just a thought. It was nice having the best of both worlds side by side though.
BTW: Later I had another phantom Ka 33.200-600-34.747 and the V1 was silent so I know the horn needs to be retunes. Nice to know for sure.[/i]
