Default The future of Ka Band

as we know X-band is well know for falsing it is an old band that mostly no one use today..

K-Band is getting more and more falsing Because of the Garage door openener, Automatic Comercial Door ect...

but what will happend to the KA

I never saw a false KA I am jut wondering if the FCC/CRTC or whaterver radio regulator you have in your country will "allow" something else then radar to be operated in the Ka Band?

other quick question when K-Band stared to be used by POLICE Radar
did it ever had flase alarm? as in Was it any other electronic device operating in the K-Band before RADAR or was K-Band created FOR Radar? same question with the KA, was the Ka band created for Radar use?

Ka will become more widely used, they are introducing it at a rapid pace with the front and rear antenna, that means more revenue for them as they can book more people.

K was first used on police radars around 1975. In 1977 we had the first X/K detector, around the time it began to be used.

X started use around 1965, and S band was the original. All these frequencies have existed since the Second World War, and their names are all code-names.

K has the advantage of smaller antennae, because higher frequency. So now we see almost all the door opener have moved to K instead of X (X band doors are those black rectangle boxes, the K are generally the small plastic "mound")

I think we'll see them on Ka as well someday...

I've falsed on KA a few times--all at the same spot in the same supermarkets parking lot. So I guess they already are on the frequency.

I too have gotten falses on ka band at tomthumb supermarket.
Evertime people would walk in front of the automatic door sensor it would set off my detector on ka band.
Hmmm i wonder if a outside motion light detection sensor will set off a
    rd?
