Default How many of you guys use the Concealed/SmartCord Display?

I was wondering how often people use the X50 with its Smart Cord Multidisplay and V1's Concealed Display (though optional at $40 more over the existing price)?

Are they worth the extra expense?

Smart Cord Multidisplay?? You mean 1 red light (alert), 1 green light (on), and a mute button. I don't use the V1's concealed display because radar detectors are not illegal in my state and my windows have 5% limo tint so nobody is following my arrows but me.

I love the smartcord and used it all the time before I hard wired my detector. Made muting SO much easier.

i purchased the V1 concealed display but ended up really disliking it. if you plug it in, then the V1's display will turn off and you can only see the concealed display! very annoying. plus I just couldnt find a good place to mount it in my car!

the best thing on the smart cord is the MUTE button, the lights do jack all for me.... I am in the process of making a custom smart cord...as I dont like the Bel one as it faces the wrong way.
