Fop: A man who is preoccupied with and often vain about his clothes and manners; a dandy.

The cards that are being talked about are "courtesy cards" Usually given to family and friends of members of law enforcement. Sometimes they work, most of the time they don't.

I never liked the idea of "advertising" that I am affiliated with FOP/PBA with the license plate, plate frame or shield on the front or rear window. It draws too much attention and makes your vehicle stand out.

A woman I used to work with, her husband is a deputy. She has his Sherriff Deputy card with his name and phone # taped to the back of her license. She has a note that pointed to the card that reads: Incase of emergency call my husband. She told me she's been let go multiple times because the cop saw her husband is a LEO.

I'm seeing more and more of the "thin blue line" stickers and tags these days.
