Help again to identify this Radar..

Hi,

I saw some local cops with a radar (I think it was Laser) mounted on a tripod. It was a dark black with a triangle grey color like shape on the side.
I wish I could of had a closer look, but I was going to a wedding and wasn't able to. They were on the opposite side of the road.

Can anyone help?

Hummmm close but not quite....The radar was on a tripod, your pics shows it a shoulder mounted..also the triagle was grey and the rest of the box was black...but the triagle is the same...it must be from the same manufacturer.

Shoulder mounted becomes tripod mounted by screwing it on a tripod Like a camcorder.

I never undestood a shoulder mount for RADAR, you don't have to aim like you do LIDAR. I think it makes the police feel more powerful

Check out the above link and let us know. It sounds like the markman. The Laser atlanta also has a angle symbol on the side.

Nope, none of those.

But it must be from the same manufacture...It was the first time that I;ve seen the cops with this setup...(Tripod and this color of unit).. Oh well. I'm sure I'll see them again since month end is fast approaching.
