Pro 78 vs. 955/965 vs. 8500

Someone tell me which one? Im leaning toward the pro 78

If money is an issure get the V955 or V965. I have had both and they are decent detectors for the $$$. If you havemore money then go wit the 8500 or for a little more the 8500 X50.

Even though many said that whistler increase the sensitivity on their recent updated pro 78, they still were behing the 955 and 965 in recent test.

The bel 940 actually did better in GOL tests than the 995 and 965! Check their latest test out!!

Do not get me wrong I do love my Pro 78 BUT it is hard to recommend it over the Vector series when Vector is more sensitive. The Pro 78 does come with INCREDIBLE customer service courtesy of Mike B. himself and an OUTSTANDING 3 year warranty BUT in terms of performance the Vector series takes the cake

I couldn't possibly recommend anything then the 955, I think its amazing and it actually outperformed the 995 on virtually every test they ran in terms of range. Even beat the X50 on one test. SO for the cash, you cant beat it.

I just wanted to make it clear that the recent GOL test results did NOT have the new revision.

I have already had people ask me if it did, so I wanted to be clear so that there is no more confusion.

It would be very curious to see the results in the next GOL test.
