Everyone on this forum must by now know that Cobras interfere with quality detectors. Isn't causing interference against FCC regulations?? :?

No, if it’s not harmful. But for a product to not accept interference is.
Oh, ok. I have read the sticker and knew that RDs had changed a few years ago to comply with the FCC. I was hoping I was on to something, anything to get them off the shelves and off the road.
That's what stopped Uniden from producing more of their crap. Couldn't comply with the regulations.
Thought most RD manuals or the RD itself have a sticker or statement that is something to the effect that upon purchase of this unit you are willing to accept any interference caused by outside sources.
Any electronic device must comply with part 15 of FCC rules. "This device may not cause harmful interference, and must accept any interference received, including interference that can cause undesired operation."
definitely causes harmful interference to other radar detectors which is what op was getting atOriginally Posted by CJR238

The FCC (or anybody else) barley even touches RMR. So I doubt they care about cobra.
