What is a Drone

I have ran into a drone before I think right inside the 895 95 split in bmore before the hrbor tunnel..
Its cut off not but it was a weird box connected to the side of a bridge...Looked like a box speed camera doing x I think..What the heck did I encounter?.

And wtf is a drone?

A drone is the worker unit for the Zerg. It has 40 hit points, zero armor (upgradable to +3) and also serves as the base unit for building morphs.

A drone is a police radar frequency emitter with the sole purpose of setting off radar detectors to slow down traffic. Not to be confused with traffic density monitoring radar, or legitimate falses such as door openers.

Another form of "Drone" is used by the DOT to count traffic
and various other things on the interstate. It emits a X or K
band signal. This particular device is not meant to discourage
radar detector use but it does have that non intended after effect.

IMO those don't really count as "drones" per se, as they are actually serving some sort of purpose but need to transmit radar in order to do so. What I'd consider to be a drone is putting a radar antenna inside a construction sign just to set off radar detectors (which tends to happen a lot in construction zones... thank god most of them are X-band)
