Cobra self-detection?

The latest Cobras supposedly have Ka POP protection, but cause falsing on other detectors with Ka POP enabled. So, how can the Cobras detect POP without detecting themselves? Or, did I just answer my own question (assuming that they can't really detect Ka POP)?

They probably only detect certain types of POP that don't involve falsing all over themselves. Of course, I've heard SEVERAL reports of Cobras being caught in a self-alert infinite loop until being reset, so it could very well be vulnerable to detecting itself.

Like I say in my sig line, perhaps the reason Cobras have such crappy sensitivity is in order to prevent them from detecting themselves.
