Ka 33.842 MPH
A cop in Toronto was using this MPH unit, is it way off the normal range or within the norm, maybe Prof Jim have an answer to this one...
Thanks a lot.
It's the norm, as long as it is between 33.700 and 33.900.
But also keep in mind that Tech Mode isn't all that accurate either: it has been demonstrated that the frequency it displays can be up to 30 MHz off of the actual frequency, at least on K-Band...
Thank you Jim very much, professional as always

Pardon my noobness, but when you say 30 MHz, it doesn't seem like a lot to me.
So if the signal is 34.700 GHz, 30 MHz off be 34.730/34.670, right? Or would it be 35.000/34.400.
I've always thought the former then it doesn't seem like too big a deal, but if it's the latter, then wow, that's a lot.
You are correct elvato

Oh, ok. Then yea, I don't need exact numbers. I just need to see if that Ka hit is a Cobra or not
