Radar/Lidar Encounters in NOVA

I'm getting increasingly paranoid about -every- car I see in NOVA (especially if it's American made). I'm seeing more and more unmarked traffic units of varing make and models.

About 2 months ago I got paced and pulled over by a black Dodge Charger (the state trooper poked his head right in the passenger window. Didn't even see my V1 mounted to XXXXXXXXXX. Natch!). I've seen a Chevy Blazer ticket fools, Impalas of course, and I might have even seen a Viper....?! (Can anyone confirm a Viper sighting?)

Basically I'm seeing more and more pacing and less and less radar (except on I-66 near 7100. State police are always there with Ka). I don't even remember the last time I got a lidar alert (maybe 3 months ago on US-28 near Dulles).

They'll use any car they can to write as many tickets as possible in Virginia. They were even trying to pass a law last year allowing police officers issue traffic tickets out of uniform.
