Default Two detectors in one car... But different.

Would it be ok if I mounted my Pro 78 on my windshield facing foward, and my 1743d on the rear glass "windshield" thingy facing backwards? I mean would they be far enough from each other to not interfere?

It might kinda give me an idea of which way the signal is coming from depending on which alerted first. Just a thought.

Has anyone ever tried this, or would they definitely interfere?

    Its like a Ricer V1

Too much trouble for me. Just get a V1 which has a separate antenna specifically for rear radar.

And perhaps a small aluminum shield next to each one to block EM signals between them? Of course reaching back to mute the back RD would be a pain. Maybe a remote mute button? Smart Cord for higher end models back there?

Then there's the issue of both detectors picking up radar reflections outside the car. I dunno, the idea of the poor man's V1 still isn't as good as a V1 as the V1 processes both signals together and employs some logic to give you a picture of what's going on outside the car.
