Cell Phone sets it off?

I was able to try out my new Bel 65 on a trip to Mackinac Island MI. I had my RD mounted just below my rear view mirror and my cell phone clipped to my visor. Every time my cell phone would ring, my RD would indicate Laser. That was nuts!

I also noticed on my regular drive today, to and from work that my POP kept going off. I had the same problem with my X50. Has anyone else had the same problem??????

POP is from other detectors setting it off...mainly cobra detectors

We can start a movement...we can all have bumper stickers that say

"Friends don't let Friends use Cobras"

I really dislike pushing 90 mph on the highway (safely), and then having a K band go full strength on me because some guy in a pinto next to me is driving with a cobra. :twisted:

Speaking of Cobras - let's not forget the incredible '66 Shelby 427 SC Cobra. Going to have a replica built for me. Will definitely need an RD in this puppy!
