I remember back in the day first running a Whistler 680 Triband, then running a Cobra wideband unit that I never received a KA alert on. Now with my 8500 X50, it has the option of displaying the frequency of the in use radar gun.
Of the various KA frequencies, what are harder to detect (33.8 GHz, etc.) thus are a bigger threat (now that I can monitor the frequency...)
What radar units still operate in the "wideband" range? Can one still be relatively safe with a wideband unit?
Do any radar guns operate in the Photo KA range, with the exception of the photo radar units?
