Saved by a....Express 795?

I just got my V995 back after being serviced by Bel. It's now mounted up on the bike. I ordered a V955 for the car which should be arriving later this week I hope. So the car is sticking it out with the Express 795 for now.

In the car today flowing w/traffic on the freeway about 15 over PSL when Ka alert sounds. I ease off a little and move over one lane. The Ka alert ceases, then about 10 seconds later another Ka alert comes on at full strength. I'm already at PSL and cars are passing me on my left...then a few moments later a state trooper picks one of them off.

That bel 795 just paid for itself, the 995 and the vector 955 you ordered. Amazing.

I have an Express 795, I was one of the first members to have one if I remember correctly... and I have always been pleasently shocked by its detection abilities. For such a cheap and lightweight unit, mine has unbelieveable detection. (It seems that the QC on the 795 is shotty, some have amazing RD's, some have terrible ones...)

Anyways, as said above, the 795 just paid for itself... and more.

I cant stress the importance of having a back-up detector.

Even running with the pack, often times, is a crap shoot.

I got lasered on my way back to work a couple days ago. Not speeding, thanfully, but like you, was just one in a pack going with the pretty moderate flow of traffic, and there was Dudley Do-Right, scarfing donuts and slingin' his laser gun.

Ok, I don' t know if he was scarfing donuts.

Great save for you. Nicely executed evasion.

I also run a express 795, I know its not the best but I got it for free so its not like I got ripped off or anything. This has amazing police K band detection but wont alert to the K band door openers untill you get really close to them, and Ka detection not bad either.
I'm still waiting for this thing to pick up a laser hit though haha but I'm still waiting on my 9500i

Drive up somewhere where they have red neon signs. My Bel 65 goes nuts with laser alerts.

RMR's are, ahem, well, passive radar jammers, at least that's what they are marketed as. So, his active Ka jammer must be something else altogether.

This RM R product works equally well, by the way, as a device to ward off the threat of alien abduction, Bermuda Triangle disappearance, spontaneous human combustion, and demonic possession.
