Default Thanks - X50 installed a good to go

Just wanted to say thanks to all. Long time lurker, first time poster.

Received my X50 (Ebay) V5 - installed a separate 12v for switch on with power. Found out I could use a telephone cord to extend the cable and mounted the unit just above my rvm in my F150 (4x4).

Again thanks to all for the excellent information in this forums.

Nope, I have had many vehicles and always mount them high as possible.
In the tint usually, with no problems.
2006 GMC pickup now and a 98 Durango both with factory tint.

If you were a long time lurker, why did you buy off of sleaze bay (ebay) ? :?

It was new for a Canadian supplier. Saved about $80 over retail. Funny I just noticed that there is no serial number sticker. The seller has been selling these for quite awhile on ebay with solid reviews.

Ebay is ok if you know what you are doing. I have bought many from there. I only resell them after running them for few weeks to make sure they work to suit me.
So far I have never got one that doesn't work properly.
Got my X50 blue Rev 5 from Ebay after a few trades and sells. How else will you find a Rev 5, especially a blue. Got my X red Rev 6.1 from Ebay. They both are perfect. I bought my V1 off Ebay, resold it of course, they just bring to much.

Sounds like it could have been stolen.
